The stage is set for the Dew Arena 3.0 grand finals after ROG TiTans took down ATE Gaming in the final match of the Group Stage today. They will meet LXG Esports in the Grandfinals for a shot at the lion’s share of the INR 7.5 Lakh Rupee prizepool as well as the chance to be featured on a Mountain Dew Bottle.

A Recap of the Group Stages

ROG TiTans beat ATE Gaming with relative ease, bringing up their score in the Group stages to a respectable 2-1. The only game ROG TiTans lost was an epic brawlfest against LXG Esports featuring Rapiers, throws and some unbelievable plays making it one of the best games of the season.

Meanwhile, LXG Esports finished the days as the only undefeated team after 3 Back-to-Back victories against ROG TiTans, Wipeout, and ATE Gaming. They were simply unplayable today, with Mino, in particular, showcasing us why he is one of the best carries in the SEA scene right now.

Wipeout and ATE Gaming were unfortunately eliminated from the event after they failed to show up against the big guns. ATE Gaming would be especially disappointed as they failed to post a single victory on the cards. Wipeout was simply out-executed by LXG Esports and ROG TiTans who used their experience in the LAN circuit over the past year to edge Wipeout.

The Dota 2 grand final of the Dew Arena 3.0 between LXG Esports and ROG TiTans will begin on Sunday (8.10.2018) at 02:00 PM, following the Rocket League and Street Fighter finals. And it promises to be one of the most anticipated, high-octane matchups of the year.
