Team Signify adds Sw1fty to its active roster

Vignesh RaghuramPublished On:
India’s best Dota 2 team, Team Signify will be joined by India’s number 1 player on the Dota 2 SEA Leaderboards – Jeet “Sw1fty” Kundra for the rest of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit Season.

The move was confirmed by the Signify management in an official announcement made on Facebook yesterday.

Sw1fty has reportedly not scrimmed with Signify just yet, though the team is excited about his potential with the organization. Sw1fty was a part of the RoG Titans roster since October when ASUS ROG India unveiled it's Dotaroster.

“I’m excited to join Signify and play alongside the best talents in the country,” Sw1fty said. “We hope to add more achievements under our belt and take Indian esports to greater heights.”

With this addition, the Signify roster eerily resembles the original Entity Esports roster with four of the original 5 players.

Their complete roster will be:
  • Balaji “BlizzarD” Ramnarayan
  • Raunak “Crowley” Sen
  • Dhvanit “Negi” Negi
  • Jeet “Sw1fty” Kundra
  • Moin “No_Chanc3” Ejaz
  • Omkar “PasoLL” Urunkar

While we don’t know the exact roles that these players will be playing in, the statement says that there will be “shifting of roles within the team.

Signify with their previous roster, had become the best performing Indian Dota 2 team in history managing to win the WESG 2017: South Asian Qualifiers, Finishing 10th in the WESG 2017: APAC Finals and Finishing 4th in the Predator League 2018: Grand Finals.

Signify will hope that Sw1fty's mechanical skill will help them take a step further in 2018.
