Team Admiral gets reinvigorated as Team AMPLFY

One of SEA’s most promising Dota 2 teams, Team Admiral has just been signed by Philippines-based esports conglomerate Tier One Entertainment and has been rebranded as Team AMPLFY.

The AMPLFY brand which was established by Tier One Entertainment already houses a wide variety of broadcast and livestream content creators in the Philippines. Now, the organization has decided to pick up aspiring pro players.

"With the success of the AMPLFY program, we want to be able to give back to the community by supporting esports players who have the potential to become world champions. said Tryke Gutierrez, CEO, Tier One Entertainment. “We’re proud to announce the forming of Tier One Entertainment’s professional esports squad, Team AMPLFY."

 

The organization has decided to make its entry into the esports sphere by picking up three rosters. One each in Dota 2 for PC, Rules of Survival for Mobile, and Tekken for Console.

The organisation also revealed that they were working alongside Team Admiral over the past few months and that Team Admiral’s owners Peng Mendoza and Martin Gonzales have also agreed to rebrand the team as ‘AMPLFY—DOTA 2’.



The Press release also revealed that it plans to expand across various other esports titles eventually. “This is only the beginning. We want Team AMPLFY to span more titles, and be able to train more talents to become the star players of tomorrow. The path will be tough, and our players will inevitably struggle along the way, but as with all things our company does, we will train them to see the value in the process.”
