Yesterday, B.O.O.T-d[S] made an announcement on their Facebook page, stating the departure of both Kumaresan ‘Tommy’ Ramani and Benjamin ‘moxie’ Kou from the team's line-up.

Tommy had joined the team back in July 2017 just before the DreamHack Masters Malmö: Asia-Oceania Qualifiers kicked-off. He had an amazing start with B.O.O.T-d[S] as they managed to qualify for the Main Event.

Moxie became a part of B.O.O.T-d[S] on January 2017 but went in-active on March 2018 to pursue other opportunities, moving to a stand-in position. He returned back to B.O.O.T-d[S] in September 2018 to help fill in a vacant position as a stand-in.

Tommy spoke out and gave a statement which clearly stated that his contract with the organization had expired and he decided not to renew it, leaving B.O.O.T-d[S].

“Nevin, Anthony, Leslie, Benkai, W1nt3r, Alecks, and to everyone who has supported us, I am truly thankful for every opportunity I've had in the team and I hope everyone will continue supporting them and me on our future adventures. The greatest source of support I’ve had on this team and the main reason I’ve improved and managed to overcome challenges is dsn, Harley aka the legend. Thank you.”

He finishes up by saying that he is not done yet and will be pursuing a new project in the future until then he will still be streaming and grinding regularly.

Harley ‘dsn’ Orvall, CEO, also said a few words regarding the change in line-up,

“After a disappointing end to 2018, we’ve decided to do what a lot of teams do at the beginning of a new year - scramble our lineup. I would personally like to thank both Tommy and moxie for their services to the team; they both played pivotal roles in the success we’ve enjoyed so far and I’m sure they will succeed in their future endeavours in gaming and in life.”

The current B.O.O.T-d[S] line-up is as follows:

  • Anthony ‘ImpressioN’ Lim

  • Nevin ‘splashske’ Aw

  • Leslie ‘Bobosaur’ Soen [Stand-in]

  • Alexandre ‘alecks’ Sallé [Coach]
