StarSeries I-League Season 7 to be held in Shanghai

The Seventh Season of StarSeries I-League CS:GO has been announced with the LAN Finals taking place from 30th March – 7th April 2019. The event will be held in Shanghai with the venue still to be decided.

StarSeries I-League CS:GO Season-7 features a record increased prize pool of $500,000 USD, which is an increase of $200,000 USD when compared to the previous StarSeries Seasons.


Slot Distribution

The event will witness 16 teams attending the event, 13 of which will be direct invites while the remaining 3 will be making their way through the regional qualifiers taking place in North America, Europe and Asia. 

The details of the regional qualifiers will be announced soon.


Event Format

The 16 teams that are participating will see a few changes taking place in the format of the Group Stage, as  StarSeries return to the BO3 format for the Swiss Stage followed by the top 8 teams qualifying onto the Playoffs that features a BO3, single elimination bracket, concluding with a BO5 Finals.

South American Qualifier

Wild, a Brazilian esports organization have already been invited for StarSeries I-League CS:GO Season-7 after winning the GAMECON Brasilia 2018, which was also acting as a South American Regional Qualifier for the event.


The reigning StarSeries I-League Champions are ENCE, who won the Sixth Season of the event which was held in Kiev last month.
