Six teams qualify through multiple Closed Qualifiers for the IEM Katowice 2019 - Asia Minor

The Middle East, SEA, China and  East Asia Closed Qualifiers came to an end yesterday with a total of 6 teams securing their slots at the Asia Minor :

  • MVP PK – East Asia Closed Qualifier

  • GOSU – East Asia Closed Qualifier

  • ViCi Gaming - China Closed Qualifier

  • CyberZen - China Closed Qualifier

  • Beyond Esports - SEA Closed Qualifier 

  • exDT - Middle East Closed Qualifier

Road To Asia Minor


East Asia Closed Qualifier

Both MVP PK and GOSU put up a solid performance that ensured their qualification for the Asia Minor. East Asia is being represented by the top two teams from the region with MVP PK dropping just a single match as they made their way through the Upper Bracket while GOSU dropped one game but only against MVP PK, also making it through via the Lower Bracket.
 

 


 



Middle East Closed Qualifier

exDT came all the way through the Middle East Online Qualifier 1 to compete at the Closed Qualifier where they dominated every team they faced. They qualified for the Asia Minor pretty comfortably, dropping just a single match in the entire process. They are surely a team to look out for on the way ahead.
 

 



China Closed Qualifier

ViCi Gaming made it through to the Minor via the Upper Bracket while CyberZen took the road less travelled, fighting their way through the Lower Bracket after dropping a game against Sparta Gaming quite early in the qualifier.


 



SEA Closed Qualifier

Beyond Esports faced strong teams like Signature Gaming and B.O.O.T-d[S] on their way ahead while also besting TNC not once but twice to ascertain their dominance and qualify for the minor.


With only the Oceania Closed Qualifier left to be played out, the last two spots within the Minor will be secured to give us all the teams that will comprise of the IEM Katowice 2019 - Asia Minor.
