SL i-League Invitational Season 4

China will be the location of the 4th iteration of the StarLadder i-League Invitational. It will take place from the 1st to 4th of February and will have $300,000 and 300 Qualifier Points on the line.
8 Teams will be taking part in the main event. Team Liquid and Newbee were directly invited to the event while SG Esports, Team Kinguin and Team Empire have already qualified for the event via the South American, European and CIS qualifiers respectively.
The SEA Open Qualifiers for this event will be conducted on the Faceit platform on January 6th -7th, followed by the Regional Qualifiers which will kickoff on January 9th.

With 16 teams set to participate in the Main Event, the top 3 teams on the Dota 2 Pro Circuit table; Team Liquid, Team Secret and Virtus Pro have already been invited to the event. While the 7 other invites are yet to be announced, ESL has released the details of the qualifiers.

- Single elimination, BO1s (except for the last round, which will be BO3s)
- 4 teams qualify for the closed qualifier
Closed Qualifiers:
- 12 teams in total
- Single elimination, BO3s (except for The Grand Finals, which is a BO5)
- 8 teams directly invited
- 4 teams qualify through open qualifiers
- The top 4 teams get a bye in round 1
