DeToNator's Dota 2 team has a full roster once again. And it has already started to turn heads with a scintillating 2-0 win against Clutch Gamers in the Kings Cup 2.

After a few underwhelming performances, DeToNator has seemingly let go of their support duo: Axel “Pablo” Källman, and Chan “Winter” Litt Binn and has picked up one of the best offlaners in SEA, Samson "Sam_H" Hidalgo, as well as explosive SEA veteran Ryan "Bimbo" Jay Qui to round out their lineup for the upcoming season.

Sam_H is best known for his time with TNC Predator, with which he won multiple events including WESG 2016, and China Top 2017 as well as numerous Top 4 placings in last year’s Dota Pro Circuit. Unfortunately, they were unable to carry their momentum and good fortunes into TI8, where they were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by Mineski. Sam_H left the team shortly after.

Joining him is one of the most popular and experienced Filipino players, Bimbo known for his time with teams like Mineski as well as Execration with whom he qualified for the TI7 main event. Bimbo will be playing in the 4 position role on which he excelled in his previous stint with TaskUs Titans.

Thus their roster is as follows:

  • Pos 1: Steve “Xcallibur” Ye

  • Pos 2: Benhur “Benhur” Lawis

  • Pos 3: Samson “Sam_H” Hidalgo

  • Pos 4: Ryan "Bimbo" Jay Qui

  • Pos 5: Ralph “RR” Peñano

Fans will be able to see this new DeToNator roster in action, in the ongoing Kings Cup 2. Since the winner of this tournament gets a slot in the Summit 10, some fierce competition is expected.
