Day 1

15th August, 2014.

Just like the first qualifier, Maximuim Gaming hosted 32 teams today. Top contenders Rapier Gaming brought down players from out of Mumbai for this one while team Xtreme Gaming made their way from Ahmedabad for a shot at getting through to the main event.

PC's seemed to be functioning smoothly barring one or two that seemed to suffer from fps drops / shaky monitors. The temperature inside the cafe was unbearable though. and would probably be more than enough incentive for teams to rely solely on deathball strats for quick finishes!

Apart from the above mentioned teams, the favourites for this qualifier include :
Team Saintz - formerly known as team Safna for those that have stuck with the Indian Dota scene for over 8 (?) years now

Hmm Ball -  their loss at the Gear Up Qualifier did not crush their spirits as they came back to MAG for round 2.

XRAY Gaming - another team that came back for a retry after being dealt a hard hand at Gear up finding themselves against NeckBREAK in the early stages of the bracket

Direct Ghar Pe - The local team at Maximum Gaming with a lot of hype surrounding their participation. They go up against Hmm Ball in round 2 for what could be their deciding match up.

Detailed tournament brackets are as below :

We will be posting tournament updates as and when we get them along with daily recaps so stay tuned!
