Razer commits $2.4 Million towards Malaysian esports

Following the announcement made earlier today, by the Malaysian Government. The founder of one of the world’s biggest gaming hardware manufacturing company, Razer Inc. – Min-Liang Tan has announced that he too will be investing RM10 million into Malaysian Esports.


He also commended the Minister of Youth and SportsMr. Syed Saddiq for “an incredibly progressive budget” and proclaimed that they would “bring esports to the next level together!”.

Shortly after, Hazman HassanCEO of KITAMEN, a Malaysian Esports company also pledged RM 100,000 into Malaysian esports.


This looks like the beginning of a massive esports movement in Malaysia, legitimizing the industry and cementing themselves one of the global esports leaders.
