Following the announcement made earlier today, by the Malaysian Government. The founder of one of the world’s biggest gaming hardware manufacturing company, Razer Inc. – Min-Liang Tan has announced that he too will be investing RM10 million into Malaysian Esports.

He also commended the Minister of Youth and Sports – Mr. Syed Saddiq for “an incredibly progressive budget” and proclaimed that they would “bring esports to the next level together!”.
Shortly after, Hazman Hassan – CEO of KITAMEN, a Malaysian Esports company also pledged RM 100,000 into Malaysian esports.

This looks like the beginning of a massive esports movement in Malaysia, legitimizing the industry and cementing themselves one of the global esports leaders.
