The ZOWIE Divina Women’s Asia Championship 2019 which started a few days back on 20th July has reached the end of its group stage. The Asian all women CS:GO event does not feature a prize pool, instead acts as a qualifier for the DreamHack Showdown Valencia 2019.

This tournament features a total of eight teams out of which four have been directly invited while the remaining four have made their way through the regional qualifiers.

All the eight teams flew down to Shanghai, China for the LAN event which started off with the group stage. The participants were divided into two groups of four teams each, with both the groups following a double elimination bracket.

Group - A

Group - B

Orange.Sphynx, Team Celestè, 7PM.fe and Phoenix.fe made it through their respective groups to move on to the playoffs. It was a good group stage with teams from the regional qualifier also fighting hard and earning a spot in the playoffs.

The qualified teams faced each other in a double elimination playoff with Orange and Celestè dropping down to the lower bracket as Phoneix and 7PM move on to the winners final.

With the Playoffs set to conclude tomorrow one of the two teams in the winners final is set to go through to DreamHack Showdown Valencia while the other team will be the one winning the losers final.

Will Orange.Sphinx be able to live up to its name and make its way through the lower bracket? 7PM has previously won against Phoneix will they do it again? Find out tomorrow as the tournament enters its final day.
