OpTic India take on SRA in the Grand Finals of the Fall Season Finale

OpTic India will be going up against Slaughter Rage Army in the Grand Finale of ESL India Premiership 2018 – Fall Season Finale. Both the teams eased past their opponents claiming the BO3 series without dropping a single match.

This is how the two games went down, 

OpTic India vs 2ez Gaming 


The two team's faced-off each other in a BO3 series that was aced by OpTic India. 

The first match between the two teams took place on Nuke where a T-sided OpTic India was struggling against 2ez Gaming who were applying a lot of pressure with their aggressive plays along with the double AWP strat but in the dying moments of the first half OpTic were able to edge past their opponents to secure a single round lead with the scoreboard reading ‘8-7’. 

OpTic India truly showed what a beast they are when playing Nuke CT-sided as they destroyed 2ez by winning eight consecutive rounds and took the match with the score of ‘16-7’

The second match took place on Inferno with almost identical final scores. This time around OpTic gave no room to their opponents as they took charge of the match right from the first second and left 2ez Gaming in its wake of destruction as they took the second match as well with a score of ‘16-6’

Taking the series ‘2-0’ OpTic India advance to the Grand Finale. 

SRA vs Team Brutality 


SRA prevailed victorious over Brutality, winning both their matches in a convincing manner.

The first match was played on Cache where SRA dominated over their adversaries in the first half of the match. The second half was no better as Brutality weren’t able to execute their plays well enough and lost the first match with the scoreboard reading ‘16-7’.

The following match took place on Dust 2. This is where Brutality stepped up their game taking the challenge head-on, the first half witnessed SRA edge past Brutality to secure the lead with a score of ‘8-7’. The following half was where Brutality turned the tables taking securing 8 of the remaining 15 rounds to level the scores at ‘15-15’. 

The overtime action was great as both the teams put on their A game but SRA beat the pressured Brutality in the clutch rounds to take the match away from them with the final scores reading ‘19-17’.

SRA move on to the Grand Finale where they will be facing OpTic India.


The winner of the Grand Finale will be taking the lion's share of the INR 10 Lakh prize pool along with directly qualifying for the ESL Pro League 8 – Asia Playoffs.
