In an intense series, Na’Vi completed a 2-1 comeback against the favourites to take this tournament: Keen Gaming and secured their spot in the upper bracket finals of ESL One Mumbai.
Here’s what went down in the intense Upper Bracket match.
Keen Gaming opened the day fairly solid, but Na’Vi just turned it up a notch in Game 1. Their movements across the map, their item decisions and power spikes were just too much for Keen Gaming to handle. It was a rout as Crystallize went berserk on his Monkey King going 11/0/12 to pummel the GG call out of Keen Gaming in just 31 minutes.
Keen Gaming forced a decisive game three from Na’Vi after a brilliant outdraft by Kaka and an incredible Ember Spirit performance from -- as he demolished the CIS team, finding kills all over the map and restricting any aggression from Na’Vi. Keen Gaming took the win in Game 2 in just 22 minutes.
For game three Keen Gaming, looked like they were cruising to victory. They won the laning phase and the mid-game phase and secured a 10k networth advantage. ‘--’ on the Death Prophet was quite farmed and appeared to be leading his team towards victory.
Unfortunately, his positioning and item decisions let the Chinese team down, as he found himself getting bursted by Magical’s TA before his Exorcism could do enough damage. Na’Vi took full advantage. The team secured the win and made it clear that they were contenders to take home the Championship.
