ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2018 continued on with the second semifinal of the day, taking place between NASR and B.O.O.T-d[S].

The two teams went against each other in order to win the BO3 series and move on to the Grand Finale where they will be facing a formidable MVP PK.

Another intense match proceeded to take place as the Middle East representatives showed grit to stand up and make a comeback into the series after losing the first match to B.O.O.T-d[S]. The series went down to a decider where NASR came out on top, reaching the finals to face off against MVP PK.

NASR vs B.O.O.T-d[S]

The first match between the two teams took place on Train where B.O.O.T-d[S] started off strong by winning the majority of the opening rounds. NASR felt helpless as every attempt by them seemed to be ineffective against a prepared B.O.O.T-d[S].

The second half of the match proceeded in the same manner, with NASR not able to pull anything more than two rounds which resulted in a heavy loss with the scores reading ‘16-6’.

Moving on to the next match that was played on Inferno, B.O.O.T-d[S] was not ready to handle the aggressive rushes that NASR executed brilliantly. The plays were so quick and effective that NASR almost managed to sweep the game away from B.O.O.T-d[S] in the first half itself by putting up a score of ‘13-2’.

But the match was far from over as B.O.O.T-d[S] made a commendable effort to overcome this herculean task of finding their way back into the game as they kept winning round after round and finally took the match into overtime.

Alas, the happiness of this monumental effort was short-lived as NASR made quick work of their opponents winning four consecutive rounds in the overtime and taking the game down to a decider.

The final match witnessed the two teams fight it out on Mirage where NASR took down B.O.O.T-d[S] with a score of ‘16-12’. The first half of the match went really bad for NASR who were struggling throughout to find a solid footing to fight their way back into the game.

But similar to how B.O.O.T-d[S] had fought back in the previous match, NASR pulled off quite an impossible feat as they hit back hard giving away just a single round away to their opponents and securing both the match and the game, as they advanced onto the Grand Finale.

Stay tuned as we bring you the update from the Grand Finale which will be taking place today between MVP PK and NASR.
