The Grand Finale of ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2018 took place today after the witnessing the two semi-finals taking place earlier in the day.

To be honest the Grand Finale was nowhere as exciting as the two semifinals as MVP PK whitewashed NASR by winning both the opening game one after the other with a heavily dominating gameplay.

MVP Above All

The first match between the two teams took place on Nuke where NASR were able to save themselves from complete humiliation as they managed to win the last round of the first half. MVP was far too superior when compared to their adversaries as they completely destroyed them playing CT-sided and breezed through the first match with a score of ‘16-1’

This followed another match being won by the Koreans who won with a score of ‘16-10’ on Train. Again, taking an early advantage by attaining a huge lead in the first half itself MVP had victory almost within its reach when NASR decided to step-up their game as they made a valiant effort of mounting a comeback but ran out of steam against a formidable MVP.

A great effort by NASR towards the end of the second match provided everyone with a bit of excitement from a very vanilla Grand Finale held in Shanghai, as MVP PK became the champions of ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND  2018. Lifting the winner's trophy along while walking away with the $40,000 USD cash prize.

MVP PK performed consistently throughout the tournament and showcased every virtue that a champion should possess. They can very well dethrone TyLoo as the best Asian team if they continue to grow at this pace.

Congratulations MVP PK and stay tuned with us for more CS:GO action.
