Misery and W33ha will be competing in ESL One: Mumbai 2019

South American powerhouse, Chaos Esports Club will be making its way to ESL One: Mumbai, the event's organizers have just announced.

Chaos Esports Club will be joining NiP, The Alliance, Gambit Esports, and Complexity in attending what is possibly the biggest Dota 2 event to be ever held in the Mumbai, India as a direct invite.

The SA kings haven’t really set the stage on fire this season, with results ranging from a 9-12th at Chongqing Major to a 7-8th place in ESL One: Katowice 2019. Now sitting comfortably as the best team that the South American region has to offer, Chaos Esports Club have the perfect opportunity to pull off a season-defining win at Mumbai.

The team that is expected to represent the org in Mumbai is as follows:

  • William "hFn" Medeiros

  • Aliwi "w33" Omar

  • Otávio "Tavo" Gabriel

  • Danylo "Kingrd" Nascimento

  • Rasmus "MISERY" Filipsen

 


NiP, Alliance, Gambit Esports, and Complexity made it into the tournament as the invited teams of the event. TNC Predator qualified for the event in SEA, The Pango in Europe, and J.Storm in North America, while Keen Gaming comes in for the Chinese region. The Indian Qualifier was unsurprisingly won by Signify.


Two other teams will also be invited for this tournament.
 


ESL One Mumbai will see 12 teams clash for the lion's share of $300,000 at NSCI Dome, Mumbai from the 16th-21st of April.
