SEA’s most successful team for the 2017-18 season, Mineski announced their new squad with which they plan to go into the new season. Iceiceice and Jabz left the team and are yet to announce their new team while ninjaboogie has joined SEA rivals TNC Predators. The 3 vacant spots are now filled by kpii,JT- and Febby.

All 3 players have been part of the Dota scene with Kpii arguably being the most successful of the 3 new members. The Australian offlaner has played 2 seasons with Chinese powerhouse, Newbee managing to reach the finals of TI7 with them. A disappointing result at TI7, means that he has made the decision to switch teams as well as regions and will now be participating from the SEA region under the Mineski tag. He will replace iceiceice as the new offlaner for the team.

Febby has had stints with Fnatic before and was last seen playing with an all Korean stack under the Immortals tag but he will join Mineski as the new 4 position. SEA legend and the man himself, Mushi will move to the 5 position and that leaves the carry role to be filled in by Geek Fam’s March who is using a new name, JT-.

On paper the line up is not as strong as it was last season but Mineski are known to be a team that simply make things work. Mushi’s captaincy from the 5 position along with kpii’s experience may just be the changes Mineski need to put bring back some major silverware for the SEA region. The team will play in the upcoming Kuala Lumpur SEA Regional qualifiers and success there will mean getting to play in front of their home fans for Moon, Mushi and JT-.

Mineski's Roster:
  • Pos 1: Thiay 'JT-' Jun Wen
  • Pos 2: Kam Boon 'Moon' Seng
  • Pos 3: Damien 'kpii' Chok
  • Pos 4: Kim 'Febby' Yong-Min
  • Pos 5: Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung
