BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus is hosting MATKA, a national gaming event as a part of their the annual techno-managerial and innovation festival, Quark. BITS has always been a college known for their gaming and esports aficionados, and their annual gaming events are looked forward to by many amateur and semi-pro gamers.
Prizepool
 
The prizepool of 3,00,000 will be divided amongst 3 titles Dota 2 and CS:GO.
Prize Pool Breakup (For both CS-GO and DOTA2) : 
1st  - 60k + Goodies
2nd  - 40k + Goodies
3rd  - 25k + Goodies
4th  - 25k + Goodies
Total - 3 Lakhs + Goodies
 
The Competition and the Format

Over 2000 participants are expected to take part in this competition and everyone will be eyeing that top prize and the moolah associated with it.
All teams will be divided into groups. Each team will play the group stage matches and the top 8 teams from each game will be making their way to the LAN finals to the BITS, Pilani campus. 2 more teams will be joining from the Goan qualifiers where only Goans are allowed to participate.
CS- GO qualifiers will be hosted on SoStronk server while DOTA 2 will be hosted by The Source.
 
Registration

Registration is open till the 5th of January and online qualifiers will take place from the 10th to the 15th of Jan. Registration is FREE of cost.
The final event is set to take place from the 3rd to the 5th of February.
