Lower Bracket - Round 3

In the first match-up of the day, the Malaysian powerhouse FrostFire went up against Lucid Dream in a BO3 series which went down to the decider.

The first match between the two teams was played on Train where FrostFire was served a defeat by the guns of Lucid Dream. The opening was a bit abrupt for FrostFire who were constantly wining rounds every now and then but weren’t able to gain any momentum, the second half witnessed a better effort from FrostFire who lost the match with a score of ‘16-9’

The second match on Cache is where FrostFire stepped up their game and dominated over Lucid Dream by a flawless display of teamwork and great use of utility weapons. Time and again FrostFire were able to set up scenarios where Lucid would be in a terrible position to react properly. FrostFire won by a score of ‘16-5’ and took the series down to the decider.

The final bout was held on Mirage. Both the teams now aware of each other's strategy were playing cautiously but Lucid Dream came out on top with their ruthless rushes that FrostFire had no answer to and before long the Malaysians were trailing by a margin of five rounds. A great effort by FrostFire in the second half of the game was in vain as Lucid Dream won the game with the scoreboard reading ‘16-10’.

FrostFire were eliminated from the league as Lucid Dream went on to face-off against B.O.O.T-d[S] in the Lower Bracket Final.

Lower Bracket - Final

The LB – Final was won by Lucid Dream who defeated B.O.O.T-d[S] in the BO3 series which went down to the final match. Lucid Dream will now face-off against Signature Gaming in the Grand Final, where Signature holds a single match advantage over them due to qualifying through the Upper Bracket.

The first match between the two took place on Overpass where B.O.O.T-d[S] was put to the test by Lucid Dream. Lucid Dream played a calm and collective game to smoothly take a short lead playing T-sided which they maintained right till the very end, winning the match with the scores of ‘16-11’

The second match happened on Train where a really successful CT-sided performance by B.O.O.T-d[S] ensured them the victory well within the first half, which they confirmed by dominating over Lucid in the second half of the match. B.O.O.T-d[S] won the match with the scores of ‘16-8’, as the two teams move on to play the decider.

The final match took place on Mirage where B.O.O.T-d[S] started off really strong but Lucid retaliated to take back the lost rounds and draw the scores at ‘5-5’. From here on out it was a struggle for B.O.O.T-d[S] to keep up with the pace of Lucid Dream who were executing some really amazing plays. Lucid took the win in the 27th round to win the match with a score of ‘16-11’ and moved onto the Grand Final to face Signature Gaming.
