PGL has finalized the Kuala Lumpur Major: Closed Qualifier team lists by announcing the four invited teams per region.
In each region, two open qualifiers will be played out, with the two best teams from each qualifier earning a placed in the closed portion of the qualifier. The Open Qualifiers kick off tomorrow: 10th September 2018. We will be casting it on our Twitch channel.
The four open qualifier teams will then be joined by four more teams as PGL revealed the invited squads.

They’ve also revealed that reigning TI Champions, OG decided to decline their invite to the Kuala Lumpur Major opting to sit this Major out.

The Closed Qualifiers of the Kuala Lumpur Major is scheduled to take place from September 16-21 to decide 15 teams who will make their way into the Major. The 16th Spot would go to the Team who wins the Minor which will precede this Major.
The format and other details about the event are yet to be revealed.
