A huge upset on day 2 of the KL Major see’s J.Storm eliminate the Chinese team, Aster on the back of a huge performance by Moo. The TI6 finalist, on his Timbersaw went to town on the Aster lineup, finishing the game with 22 kills to his name as his team pulled out an unlikely victory against Aster. The Chinese org slump to a bottom-place finish, while J.Storm move onto top the 12 with a win.
It’s hard to imagine a Spectre with 3 deaths losing in an hour-long game, but while Sylar and his team had the damage and lockdown to take teamfights, they were unable to approach the Phoenix egg. This coupled with the fact that Xxs had a terrible laning phase, meant that their fight was hindered early on. Once the Phoenix had his Aghanim’s Scepter, J.Storm found multiple successful teamfights on the back of the items, eventually breaking through Aster’s base and claiming the win.
While a lot of the credit justifiably goes to @MooDota2’s Timber, don’t sleep on @milandota2’s Phoenix. His 45.5k hero damage is less than 1k behind Timber, with 12.4k healing huge teamfight sustain.
