Keen Gaming has qualified for ESL One: Mumbai 2019 after a 3-0 sweep over Royal Never Give up in the Chinese Qualifiers. Keen Gaming didn’t drop a single series as they triumphed over their competition, one after the other to secure the win and the qualifier spot in Mumbai.
Keen Gaming has faced a myriad of struggles starting out in the new season. After a promising start to the season, which saw them obtain a third-place finish in the Bucharest Minor, Keen Gaming, unfortunately, failed to qualify for the Dreamleague: Season 11 Major and the Starladder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor.
The team has finally found a bit of success to boost their confidence and momentum. Keen Gaming was able to beat Mr Game Boy and then RNG, not once, but twice, in a convincing and overpowering fashion. Their upper bracket run and domination has granted them a long-awaited LAN spot at ESL One Mumbai 2019.
Keen Gaming will now be competing in ESL One: Mumbai 2019 alongside 4 teams including NiP, Alliance , Gambit Esports, and Complexity who have been directly invited to the event. Additionally, 3 more teams will also be directly invited to the tournament.
They will be joined by the winners of the European, North American, South East Asian and Indian Qualifiers.
ESL One Mumbai will feature 12 teams on LAN with 7 direct invites and 5 teams via Regional qualifiers. The LAN is set to take place from the 19th - 21st of April at NSCI Done in Mumbai.
