According to a tweet made by Tyloo followed up by another by Ivan ‘Johnta’ Shevtsov, Johnta has stepped down from his position within the organization. The Ukranian will no longer be serving as the coach for Tyloo.
Today we are announcing that Ivan “Johnta” Shevtsov @JohntaCSGO has decided to step down from our team’s coaching position. During his time with us, Johnta had brought structure and new approaches to our game, which had helped the newly formed roster grow at an incredible pace.

The 31-year-old CS veteran had joined the Chinese organization back in January. Under his guidance, the Tyloo roster went on to play in the Katowice Major 2019, the new Tyloo line-up back then looked really solid on paper and everyone expected the team to do well, especially with Johnta there to help them out along with a Bootcamp in Ukraine.
But the team failed to meet their expectations. This was followed by a wrenching defeat to ViCi Gaming in the finals of the IEM Sydney 2019 - Greater Chinese Qualifier and a 12th-14th finish at the StarSeries & i-League Season 7 that took place in their home turf Shanghai.
Though the team managed to fight through the grim times and qualify for the DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019 through the Chinese Qualifier, many do not count it as a proper comeback as their main rivals, ViCi Gaming was absent from the event.
I’m no longer a part of @tyloogaming. Huge thanks to management and players for a time we spent together. Im sure we did a great job and team learned things, they lacked before which will make them grow faster and achieve their goles. Best of luck in future! https://t.co/TFSXvCbnhK
