INR 50 Lakh Prizepool tournament teased by Neon Gaming Studio

A good year for Indian esports just keeps getting better.

Neon Gaming Studios, who organized the hugely successful Indian Esports Championships 2016, has just announced yet another massive tournament, NGS Championship 2018, which will feature a prizepool of INR 50 Lakhs.

The event organizers teased fans, yesterday, with a video on Facebook that said that the event will feature 5 Games: Dota2, CS:GO, Paladins, FIFA 18 and Rocket League. The event will also play host to a Cosplay Competition.

The Tournament will be a 3-Day event and is set to take place in 'Fall 2018'. The tournament will apparently feature a different format to the one used in the IESC 2016. More details will be announced 'soon'.

The ?20,00,000 Prizepool, Indian Esports Championships 2016 proved to be a well-received tournament by the fans, players and the talents who worked at the event. With an expansion of the prizepool as well as the number of games, the tournament will be one of the premier events in the Indian esports calendar.

This announcement, coupled with the previous announcements from NODWIN Gaming and Cobx Gaming, has pushed the net prize money for 2018, to well over 2.5 Crores.
