ILG Cup Season 2 Grand Finale to kick off tomorrow - features a whopping prize pool of 29 lakh INR

The Grand finale of the ILG Cup, Season 2 organized by League of Extraordinary Gamers will kick off tomorrow and with a massive prize pool of 29 lakh INR/ 40,000$ things are about to get heated. The competition in Dota is close with 3 of the 4 top teams in the country playing while in CS:GO, the absence of big names like Brutality, ETG, 2ez and Ate will mean that a new champion is crowned.

Dota and CS:GO feature a prize pool of 10 lakh each

Both Dota 2 and CS:GO will feature a prize pool of 10 lakh INR each with the winners receiving 5 lakh. In Dota 2, Signify will be the obvious favourites followed by ROG Titans, LXG Esports and finally Reckoning Esports.


In CS:GO the 4 teams who have qualified for the grand finale are Oh Bey, JHS, Reload and Iyati.


The prize pool distribution for both titles is as follows:

Winner - 5 lakh

Runners-up - 2.5 lakh

Third place - 1.5 lakh

Fourth place - 1 lakh


The initial phase of the competition will take place at the LXG gaming Cafe in Bangalore with the grand finals being held in Gamerconnect.IN at the Kormangla Indoor Stadium.

Apart from Dota 2 and CS:GO the tournament also features Overwatch and FIFA 18, both of which have a prize pool of  5 lakh each.
