One of SEA’s finest, Daryl "iceiceice" Koh has come under fire after dropping a racial slur while streaming on Twitch earlier this week. His actions have resulted in Twitch closing down his channel and also prompted a statement of apology from Mineski for this uncanny behavior.

Although iceiceice is known as a big troll in the Dota 2 scene, this is the first time he has been involved in an incident like this. The said incident occurred when the player expressed his dislike of his name ‘Daryl’.

Despite catching himself and attempting to rephrase the sentence, it didn't stop viewers/members of the Dota 2 community from mass reporting his channel for racism, causing the ban.

This is the latest in a string of incidents over hate speech in esports this year. The most noteworthy examples pertain to players connected to Activision Blizzard's Overwatch League, which has taken a hardline stance on the issue.

iceiceice has not yet made any statement on social media or through his team about the incident.
