The Lower Bracket Final of GG.Bet Summer Asia took place yesterday with B.O.O.T-d[S] taking on CyberZen in a BO3 series.

B.O.O.T-d[S] lost in the upper bracket final and had themselves stuck in a do-or-die situation against a ready CyberZen. This is how the series unfolded for a fantastic Grand Finale setup.

Lower Bracket Final

B.O.O.T-d[S] faced CyberZen on Inferno in the first match. CyberZen took off to a solid start winning 3 rounds in a row but B.O.O.T-d[S] slipped in to put themselves on the scoreboard in the 4th round and did not give away a single round after that until the halftime.

The second half started with CyberZen again winning the pistol round but faltered to B.O.O.T-d[S] as they went on a 4 round roll to win the first match with a score of ‘16-4’

The second match saw the two team's faceoff on Train with B.O.O.T-d[S] starting off with a 6-round streak before finally letting CyberZen open their scoring as well. CyberZen dropped the next round but quickly countered with a flurry of rounds to close up on the lead. B.O.O.T-d[S] managed to clinch the last few rounds before halftime.

The latter half of the match did not see any action from the side of CyberZen as B.O.O.T-d[S] quickly managed to wrap up the match with a 6-round streak, winning the match with a score of ‘16-5’.

B.O.O.T-d[S] managed to win the lower bracket final ‘2-0’ against CyberZen and move on to face GOSU in the grand finals for the second time in the playoffs.

Stay tuned to see if B.O.O.T-d[S] will be able to turn this around in the revenge game grand finale or will GOSU sweep past them yet again to claim the GG.Bet Summer Asia cash prize and trophy.
