Following the Disband of WG.Unity, offlane player Kim "Velo" Tae-sung joins Clutch Gamers heading into the ESL One: Genting Minor – SEA Qualifiers.
He will join Clutch Gamers to compete alongside, Armel Paul "Armel" Tabios, Vladimir "Chappie" Kuzmenko, Kenneth "Flysolo" Coloma and Marvin "Boombacs" Rushton, the organization announced earlier today.

Velo will replace Jio "Jeyo" Madayag on the roster. Jeyo joined Clutch Gamers alongside MC Nicholson “MAC” Villanueva and Jun "Bok" Kanehara on August 25 in the Post TI7 shuffle. Since then, the organization has had multiple roster changes which also includes the pickup of Russian Superstar carry Vladimir "Chappie" Kuzmenko.
Combining the three young core players (Chappie, Armel, Velo)—under the leadership of Flysolo may yield exceptional results, as each player has proven that they're capable of hanging with the best of SEA. It's possible that they may return to the lofty heights they reached at the end of the previous TI season.
Thus their complete roster is:
  • Vladimir "Chappie" Kuzmenko
  • Armel “Armel” Paul Tabios
  • Kim "Velo" Tae-sung
  • Marvin “Boombacs” Rushton
  • Kenneth “Flysolo” Coloma
WG.Unity are yet to make a statement on Velo’s departure.
