The first-ever Fortnite World Cup came to a close earlier yesterday. A whopping $30 Million USD was on the line at the tournament, making it the second-highest prize pool in esports history only next to Dota 2’s The International 2019.
Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf from Sentinals took home the first place trophy as well as a whopping $3,000,000. The second place went to a familiar face for old-school Dota 2 fans. Harrison "psalm" Chang aka kizzles took home $1.8 Million USD.

Psalm aka Kizzles was a former Dota 2 pro who was once part of the NoTidehunter roster comprising of EternaLEnVy, Black^, s4 and AdmiralBulldog. He was also a part of the PotM Bottom roster alongside Fogged, Aui_2000 and Sneyking.
His talent in competitive gaming was evident right from the beginning. EternaLEnVy considered Kizzles to be the most talented player in the NoTidehunter roster. Unfortunately, Kizzles had to quit the team to focus on High School and eventually moved on to Heroes of the Storm. He decided to focus on Fortnite when Heroes of the Storm shut down its esports scene.
The rest is history.
After winning the world cup, psalm tweeted to show that he had still not forgotten his Dota 2 background with shoutouts to several of his former teammates.

With psalm's victory at the Fortnite World Cup, he becomes the 27th highest-earning player in esports history.
