The group stage of the last SEA Dota 2 Pro Circuit event of the season finished today in Bangkok, with two teams already securing atleast 90 DPC points and two others were eliminated.

SG e-sports and Alpha Red were unable to turn around a disaster of an event. Both teams failed to take a single win yesterday. They continued to struggle today, with the SA representatives only win coming against the hometown team. With a disappointing run, their journey comes to an end here at the GESC: Thailand Dota 2 Minor.

Meanwhile, Fnatic was in top form as they took down Keen Gaming and VGJ.Storm in two quick games before facing off Evil Geniuses in their final matchup of the Group Stages. A loss for Fnatic would lead them down the tie-breakers path. However, SEA fans need not have worried for Fnatic were simply scintillating. EE-Sama and Co. surprised their adversaries with forgotten heroes pick like Spectre, Dark Seer, and Storm Spirit to take the win against the NA Powerhouse.

Team Secret was able to knock EG into the third seed with their flawless performance today, giving the Europeans a direct berth in the Semifinals, and guaranteed DPC points for themselves.

The action resumes tomorrow at Thailand for 3rd to 6th placed teams in the group. The quarterfinal matches will see Evil Geniuses take on Keen Gaming and, VGJ.Storm take on The Final Tribe. Here are the brackets:
