The Jordan Qualifier for ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2018 took place on 5th September with the winner and runner-up of the event moving onto the Middle-East Closed Qualifier taking place in Dubai from 14th-15th September.
This is the first Jordan Qualifier to take place under the eXTREMESLAND banner. Although there were some speculations of a ’conflict of interest’, due to the organization hosting the qualifiers also registering a team of their own to participate in it, nothing could be done to deal with the problem as no other organization was ready to offer their services. The Jordan Qualifier was organized by Fate eSports.
5 teams participated in the qualifier which followed a single elimination BO3 bracket. This is how the qualifier proceeded:
Fate won the Jordan Qualifier taking down M4SPEED in the finals and will be awarded a cash prize of $1,000 USD along with a slot at the Middle East Closed Qualifier while M4SPEED who were the runner-ups will only be receiving a slot at the Middle East Closed Qualifier.
The winner of the Pakistan Qualifier for ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2018 is Portal Esports. They will be taking part in the middle east closed qualifier along with other qualifying teams coming from their respective regional qualifiers.
The Final Qualifier for Pakistan region was held in Portal-PGE, Lahore on 1st-2nd September. The Pakistan Qualifiers was organized by Portal - Premium Gaming Experience along with IGen Gaming.

The semifinals witnessed Madwolves taking on NM eSports whereas Made in Karachi faced off against Portal eSports.
Both Madwolves and Portal eSports won their respective matches to face-off in the finals that finally led to Portals besting their opponent ‘2-1’ in a BO3 series. With this Portal eSports will be moving onto the Middle East Closed Qualifiers.
