After a very successful return to the esports sphere with the Summer Season, The ESL India Premiership 2018 is back for its next iteration: the Fall season.
The ESL India Premiership has always been an important part of the Indian esports tournament circuit as it is one of the few tournaments that have top-notch competition as well as providing a competitive platform for upcoming Dota teams to showcase their skills and fight against teams of equal caliber; while competing for a sizeable net prizepool of $48,000 for Dota 2, CS:GO and Clash Royale.
Teams who finished in the Top 8 positions of last season’s Master League will continue to play in this season’s Master League. The bottom 4 teams will be relegated to the Challenger League while the Top 4 teams in the Challenger League will be promoted to the Master League. Which of course means that Foreign teams like Neon Esports, NCGC, and Alpha Gaming will be making it into the Master League should they choose to play on.
Like always, the Starter League is the only means to get into the Challenger League, ergo the Master League and the LAN Finales. The Top 2 teams in each phase of the Starter league will make it into the Challenger league. So get ready to kick-start your journey in Indian Esports with the ESL India Premiership 2018 - Fall Season Starter Cup #1.
