In a surprising move, Entity Gaming’s coach, Anthony “Scantzor” Hodgson unveiled their new roster for the upcoming Dota 2 season.
This year’s iteration of Entity Gaming will include Yang "Deth" Wu Heng, Travis "Castaway" Waters, Kim "Velo" Taesung, Danny "Noia" Junget, and Job "JobeeEZy" Real Ramos. The only members of Entity Gaming’s previous roster to remain for next year are NoiA and JobeeEZy, who have been part of the team for over 6 months and 1 year respectively.
- Yang "Deth" Wu Heng
Deth aka Deth-sama is a Singaporean player who is mostly known for his stints at Fire Dragoon and Team Flash. He is well known for his in-game decision making prowess, which was showcased during Team Flash’s run in the Malaysia Esports League where they finished in 3rd place.
- Travis "Castaway" Waters
Castaway is yet a South African pubstar whose prowess in the Mid Lane was quite evident in his stint with White Rabbit Gaming. He has been on the lookout for a chance to showcase his skill on a much bigger stage, even opting to move to Cambodia to do that.
- Kim "Velo" Taesung
Velo is best known for his performances in the offlane with the erstwhile Immortals roster which finished in 4th Place in the NA Qualifiers. He was probably one of the most underappreciated players in the team.
This offseason saw not only a change in roster for Entity Gaming but a change in Bootcamp as well. The team will no longer be based out of The Philippines but will instead be playing from Indian soil.
Hence Entity Gaming’s Roster for the upcoming season will be:
1. Yang "Deth" Wu Heng
2. Travis "Castaway" Waters
3. Kim "Velo" Taesung
4. Danny "Noia" Junget
5. Job "JobeeEZy" Real Ramos
The new Entity Gaming roster will most likely make its debut on Sep. 17, when the Kuala Lumpur Major’s qualifiers kick off.
