ENCE are the DreamHack Winter 2018 champions

Dreamhack Open Winter 2018 which took place in Jönköping, Sweden concluded yesterday with ENCE coming out on top as the champions after defeating Bravado quite convincingly. 

The event which took place from 30th November - 2nd December witnessed 8 teams participating in it, 6 of which were directly invited while the remaining 2 made their way through the European and the North American qualifiers. 


The following teams were a part of the main event:

The 8 teams were initially divided into 2 groups of 4 teams each with both the groups following a double elimination format where the opening and winners' matches were a BO1 while the decider and elimination matches were a BO3.

The top two teams from each group moved ahead to the Playoffs which featured a BO3, single elimination bracket.

ENCE who had a rough time in the group stage came back stronger as they took down Heroic in the semifinals with a series score of '2-0', moving on to the finals. ENCE faced off against Bravado in the finals where they again took a '2-0' win and claimed the title of being the champions of DreamHack Winter - 2018.


ENCE has been having a great time winning three consecutive tournaments that they have been a part of StarSeries I-League Season 6 followed by Assembly GameXpo 2018 and now this.
