Fans of EG will be left disappointed as Cr1t was heard on his stream discussing how it would be unlikely that EG would attend ESL One Mumbai. The support player for the top team in NA currently has had a great season with the team with 2 3rd place finishes at Kuala Lumpur and then Chongqing, this season.

A busy schedule is the main reason behind EG’s absence according to Cr1t. Apart from the 2 Majors, EG have also attended ESL One Hamburg in 2018 and are set to attend ESL One Katowice this week. While the news is upsetting for fans of EG in the subcontinent, the busy DPC schedule and the timing of the event are definitely factors we have to keep in mind.

ESL One Mumbai will take place from the 19th to the 21st of April, 1 day before the DOTAPIT Minor kicks off in Croatia. This by itself will make it hard for teams to confirm their presence in Mumbai as of now since it is hard to determine which team will have to play at the Minor and which team would be able to directly able to qualify for the subsequent Major.
