Dew Arena has returned featuring Dota 2, CS:GO and PUBG Mobile

For the fourth year in a row, Mountain Dew will be hosting their yearly esports competition, Dew Arena. Much like the last 3 years, a large chunk of the INR 20 lakh prize pool (INR 15 lakh to be exact) is devoted to CS:GO and Dota 2 with the rest spread among titles like Rocket League, Street Fighter V as well as mobile titles like World Cricket Championship and Monster Truck Racing.

This season will also feature a PUBG Mobile tournament featuring a whopping INR 11 lakh prize pool.

The Qualifiers for the LAN event have already kicked off, with Global Esports securing a spot in the LAN finale in the Dota 2 division and Entity Gaming securing a spot in the CS:GO side of things.
 


 

Format

 

Dota 2 and CS:GO

 

The majority of the competition will be online, with only the four best teams invited for the LAN finale, which will be held in October, to challenge for the trophy. The breakup of the prize money is as follows:


1st prize: INR 6 lakh + Bottle presence for the Captain

2nd prize: INR 1.5 lakh 

 

PUBG Mobile
 
  • 100 PUBG Mobile lobbies will be hosted daily for 90 days starting from July 5th to October 2nd.

  • The 100 winners of each lobby will receive an INR 50 voucher and will advance to a qualifier match which will be hosted at the end of each of the 90 days.

  • The winner of this qualifier match secures an INR 5000 voucher as well as a spot in the Finals.

  • The Finalists will battle against each other in the LAN finals to grab the lion’s share of the INR 2 lakh prize pool.

The exact dates for the LAN finale are yet to be announced.

Qualifier #1 for Dota 2 and CS:GO has already come to a close, while Qualifier #2 is currently ongoing. But you can still register for Qualifier #3 through these links.
