DeToNator disbands less than a week after winning COBX Masters

Shounak SenguptaPublished On:

Japanese organization, DeToNator have announced that they will be disbanding their Dota 2 roster effective immediately. The news comes a week after the team won the COBX Masters LAN in Mumbai, however it is to be expected as the team had already revealed that it was their last tournament.

The organization decided to get into Dota 2 by picking up players from the Philippines in 2018, but have had mixed results since then. They have yet to qualify for any tier 1, let alone a DPC event and have won less than $10,000 in prize money if we exclude the recently concluded COBX Masters.

However, the team did go down with a bang, picking up first place and $60,000 in Mumbai, just last weekend. The 5 players who were part of that lineup were:

Skem

Benhur

Sam H

FLYSOLO

RR

Stay tuned to find out what happens to the 5 players and whether they will join a new org or part ways.
