COBX recently revealed that William ‘Blitz’ Lee will be casting at the COBX Masters Dota Finals adding more hype to the $100,000 LAN which is set for early April. The 28-year old ex-pro turned analyst has been a fan favourite in the Dota community for his insightful casts and his rapport with fellow caster, Austin ‘Capitalist’ Walsh.
The duo have become one of the most recognized casting pairs in Dota, with their voices resonating across multiple memorable games in many premier LANs across the world. Both Blitz and Capitalist have also worked multiple TI’s starting from TI4 and having worked at all subsequent TIs.
While the TO has confirmed the attendance of Blitz at the LAN, Capitalist is yet to be confirmed. But their social media handle, all but confirms it. The presence of these two decorated Dota personalities at the LAN will indeed be a treat for Indian fans who are gearing up for not 1 but 2 premier Dota events in April alone.(Also read: ESL One Mumbai announced with 300,000$ prize pool)
5 teams have been confirmed to attend the LAN - Tigers, Signify, Almost There, DeToNator and Exclamation Mark. 1 more team is expected to be announced as a direct invite in the coming weeks.
COBX Masters will be one of the biggest LANs held in India, featuring a prize pool of $200,000 split evenly between Dota 2 and CS: GO. The LAN will take place from the 5th to the 7th of April at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. A total of 6 teams will be attending the LAN for each title.
