Mongolian Counter-Strike prodigy, Machinegun has joined Chinese organization Eclipse as per an announcement on Chinese social media website, Weibo. Having played in TheMongolz and then a brief stint at NA org, Splyce, Machinegun has been unable to find the success that was expected of a player of his talent.
The player originally kicked off his playing career here in India playing for orgs like Neckbreak Gaming but soon moved back to his homeland and started playing for TheMongolz. They soon found success in Asia and in 2016 established themselves as a top team in Asia, having won the IEM Taipei Minor.
In time, however, both Machinegun and Zilkenberg would go their separate ways largely due to the lack of opportunities in Mongolia and Asia. Machinegun joined NA org Splyce but his stay there would be short as the organization released him citing language barriers as too great a challenge.
The 28-year-old now has moved to China to play for Eclipse replacing artill. Eclipse’s best placing came in the Zowie eXtremesland Asia tournament in 2017 where they placed second after Flash Gaming. The current Eclipse roster is as follows:
Lei "bottle" Mao
YangYang "ayaya" Zheng
Wei "shuadapai" Wang
Yue "AE" Yu
Enkhtaivan "Machinegun" Lkhagva
