B.O.O.T-d[S] Qualify For Dubai Showdown

The Grand Finals of PLG Grand Slam 2018 – India & SEA Qualifier came to an end yesterday with B.O.O.T-d[S] making their way through quite a competitive qualifier with a win against Beyond Esports in a BO3 final.

The two teams had a great run till the finals where they engaged in a thrilling BO3 series that went down to a decider and ended with B.O.O.T-d[S] coming on top as the victors and qualifying onto the PLG Grand Slam 2018 – Main Event.

The first match between B.O.O.T-d[S] and Beyond took place on Mirage where Beyond started off strong in the first half and although B.O.O.T-d[S] did a fantastic job to stay in the match, Beyond made sure that this was not the case and took the game with a score of ‘16-13’.

B.O.O.T-d[S] were determined to win the series and it was showcased in a very dominant manner as they took down Beyond Esports on Nuke with a score of ‘16-7’

The decider was held on Train where B.O.O.T-d[S] squeezed the air out of Beyond who was shut down completely in the first half of the match. Beyond started to play a slow-paced game and it did work in their favour for quite a few rounds but B.O.O.T-d[S] worked their way around it and were able to win the remaining few rounds required to settle the match. B.O.O.T-d[S] won the final match with a score of ‘16-11’.

Taking the series '2-1' against Beyond Esports, B.O.O.T-d[S] qualified onto the PLG Grand Slam – Main Event which will be held in Abu Dhabi later this year.
