Malaysian gaming cafe chain, Battle Arena are organizing a Dota 2 league for players in the country, focusing on lesser-known names and upcoming players in the region. The tournament will look to offer a platform for players in Malaysia, to not only show their gameplay but also to tell their stories.
Through this program, Battle Arena is attempting to elevate the level of competition in Malaysia, by giving local players a chance to experience a proffesional setting to play in. The tournament will be accompanied with special focus on documentary-style interviews, player profiles and moment highlights to add to the viewer experience.
The league will include 32 teams via 2 qualifiers. Qualifier #1 will be held on 1st and 2nd of June whike Qualifier #2 will be on 8th and 9th of the same month. The grand finals will be held on the 29th and 30th of June. Registrations for the tournament will begin soon and the link for the same can be found on Battle Arena’s Facebook page.
