Following TNC Predator’s big win against ViCi Gaming. The other SEA representative at this tournament, Fnatic took on NA giants, Evil Geniuses fighting for their lives in this tournament. Here’s what went down in this hyped series.
Evil Geniuses started out with what has become their staple pick in this tournament, the Arteezy Arc Warden. Evil Geniuses’ emphasis on putting all the eggs on the Arc Warden basket and their domination in team fights didn’t leave much room for failure for Fnatic. EG completely took advantage of this and secured a 41-minute win in Game 1.
Game 2 was a little closer, mostly because of a lacklustre performance overall on the part of Evil Geniuses. Despite that, Fnatic wasn’t able to edge out any of Evil Geniuses’ strategies as Arteezy’s Terrorblade once again had a free reign in teamfights leading to Fnatic getting knocked out of the tournament.
That's Top 6! GGs to @FNATIC as we complete the 2-0 and move on at the Kuala Lumpur Major.
