All Indonesian teams wiped out from the ESL One: Katowice SEA Open Qualifiers

Day 1 of the ESL One: Katowice 2019 - SEA Opens saw 34 teams try out for the coveted spots at the Regionals. While it’s hard to see any team making it out of the SEA Regionals other than TNC, Fnatic and Tigers for the moment, the SEA Open Qualifiers have always been one of the more intense ones out there.

Team Admiral, are now on par for their 3rd successful Open Qualifier run after making it through for the SEA Regionals for the KL Major, and the Dreamleague Season 10 Minor. The team took on Indonesian teams Rex Regum Qeon and PG.Barracx on Day 1 and were able to come out on top. It still seems like they have quite some distance to go in order to bring down the best teams in the region.

Team Admiral will now take on fellow Filipino team, Sterling Global Dragons who themselves had a stellar run in the brackets. The team edged out strong competitors like Execration in their run so far.

WG.Unity, Veteran, DeToNator, WG.Unity, Clutch Gamers, Tamago, and Team HighGround are the rest of the teams still remaining in the Open Qualifiers.

The BO3 quarterfinals take place tomorrow, followed by the BO3 Semifinals which will take place on Monday. The top 2 teams will make their way to the Regional Qualifiers to join the Two other SEA teams that will be directly invited to the event.
