The South East Asia qualifier finals for WESG 2018 will kick off on the 13th of December in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as 10 teams, representing their home countries fight for the top 4 spots that guarantee them a place in the WESG 2018 main event.

The following teams will be in action at the LAN event:

TNC Predator - Philippines

Veteran - Myanmar

Resurgence - Singapore

Blackjack - Malaysia

Revival - Brunei

BOOM ID - Indonesia

Intelligence Quotient - Cambodia

MEGA Aorus - Vietnam

KPV Gaming - Laos

Alpha Red - Thailand

The teams will play out a Swiss format to determine the top 4 teams who will then go on to represent their countries at the WESG 2018 main event, in China early next year. Additionally, the top 4 teams will play out a single elimination playoff bracket to determine the seedings and champion. A small prize pool of 15,000$ has also been allotted for this event with the winner receiving the lion’s share at 7500$.

TNC Predator are definitely the top dogs in the tournament with their years of international experience along with the fact that they won the overall WESG event back in 2016. BOOM ID too have looked strong, of late, coming out on top in the Bucharest Minor qualifiers to reach their first ever DPC event.
