NODWIN Gaming has finally started to reveal basic details related to the upcoming Valorant Challengers League 2023 South Asia.
A total of ten participants will be competing in VCL 2023 South Asia, including seven direct invites and three qualified teams.
VCL 2023 South Asia is scheduled to start from 18th March at 19:00 IST.

Riot Games entered a two-year strategic partnership with NODWIN Gaming on 8th February to announce the highly anticipated Valorant Challengers League (VCL) 2023 South Asia, featuring a total prize pool of over INR 1.15 Crore ($139,098 USD).

The open qualifiers for the event took place shortly after the announcement. However, since then there had been a lot of confusion across the Indian esports community due to a lack of information.

Finally, on 16th March the organizers broke their silence and announced the schedule of the league, set to take place from 18th March to 22nd April, along with the names of all ten teams that would compete in the VCL 2023 South Asia.

VCL 2023 South Asia: All invited and qualified Valorant teams

There was a lot of back and forth about the number of teams that might compete in the VCL 2023 South Asia. Initially, many thought that ten teams would be invited and two more qualified teams would join them for the main event via two open qualifiers.

Soon it became clear that only one open qualifier would be taking place for the main event. Hence it was speculated that both the qualifying teams would be selected from this single qualifier itself.

However, the final outcome is something completely different. As per the announcement by NODWIN Gaming, only ten Valorant teams will be participating in the VCL 2023 South Asia, which includes seven direct invites and three teams qualifying through the open qualifier.

Here are all the invited and qualified teams along with their complete lineups that will be a part of the first-ever VCL 2023 South Asia:
