Gamers Without Borders to Host a Dota 2 Tournament and Donate 1.5 Million Dollars to Charity
  • ‘Gamers Without Borders’ has announced that they will be hosting a Dota 2 tournament featuring 8 European/CIS teams.
  • The organization will be donating over $1.5 Million to charity.
  • Earlier, the organization hosted tournaments for PUBG Mobile and Rainbow 6 Seige

Saudi Arabia’s ‘Gamers Without Borders’ has announced that they will be hosting a Dota 2 tournament featuring 8 teams and will donate $1.5 Million USD to charity. 

Earlier last month, the ‘Gamers Without Borders’ series of tournaments was announced to raise money to fight the coronavirus pandemic with a gigantic $10 million prize fund. Professional gamers will be able to compete and then pick a charity of their choosing. 

So far, there have been tournaments in PUBG Mobile as well as Rainbow Six Siege. For their third instalment, Gamers Without Borders has chosen Dota 2 as the title of choice.

Details of the Tournament

8 teams from the Europe and CIS region, will be competing in this tournament, namely:

  • OG
  • Team Liquid
  • Nigma
  • Team Secret
  • Na’Vi
  • Virtus.Pro
  • NiP
  • Alliance

The tournament will be held from 15th - 17th May 2020.
