Following this, Riot Games has released a new advertisement for the mobile version of League of Legends featuring Faker, Teddy, and CloudTemplar. The one-minute ad featured Faker driving a bus with Wild Rift displayed on it. Faker greeted passengers asking ‘if they want to get on the bus?’.
As passengers board the bus, a device at the entrance scans their ranks. One passenger gets scanned as ‘Challenger’, as Faker and Teddy look up in awe and it's revealed to be jungler CloudTemplar. The player-turned-caster played for teams like MiG Frost and Azubu and is currently employed by Riot Korea.
Wild Rift has been getting a lot of publicity recently, with the first regional open beta coming later this month with fans eagerly waiting for their region to be included in the beta. South Korea and Japan’s addition to the recent closed beta gives them a headstart in terms of learning the game compared to fans from Europe or North America where the game is supposed to go live only next year.

Faker’s Tryst with League of Legends
While some say Faker’s position as GOAT is challenged by newer players, his presence in League of Legends esports is undeniable. As of 2020, he has the longest continuous tenure of any player with a single organization (T1, previously SK Telecom T1) and is the only player, along with Bengi, to have won the World Championship three times.
However, for the second time in three years, Faker will not be seen during League of Legends 2020 World Championship. The superstar mid laner and his T1 side were crushed 3-0 in the LCK gauntlet finals by first seed Gen.G. Faker performed admirably, but ultimately couldn't lead his team to an unlikely victory and salvage a disappointing season. Speculation around the 'Unkillable Demon King' and his future suggests that the player could retire. Despite not qualifying for Worlds this year, he was featured in "Take Over" - Worlds 2020, the event’s promotional music video as a side character.
