Adroit Esports Releases its Filipino VALORANT Roster

In a message posted on its social media pages, Adroit Esports announced that its VALORANT team was being released. They later provided an explanation stating that they had to make this difficult decision since they could not sustain a second esports team due to the ongoing Pandemic.

Their statement reads:

This may come as a shocker to everyone, especially those who have been supporting the squad ever since we picked them up. They have won countless championships under our banner which solidified them as the best in the country and one of the best in South East Asia being directly invited to the Ignition Series.

The COVID-19 pandemic halted almost everything, even esports. To be precise, we can no longer sustain another roster. We are deeply saddened to part ways with this talented roster composed of:

  • dispenser
  • whoME
  • Borkum
  • Jessievash
  • gicama
  • Grand (6th man)
  • Gibo (Coach/Manager)

We wish them more championships and let us keep supporting them as they battle it out in the Valorant Ignition Series: Pacific Open.

The VALORANT lineup of Adroit Esports was announced on 20th June 2020.

After this signing, Adroit was one of the more successful teams in the region. They won multiple championships including the Siklab Invitational and the Go For Glory Cup. This saw them receive an invite to the Cyber Games Arena Pacific Open.

However, after their release from the Adroit organization, the roster will now compete under the fiVes banner in this tournament.
