The competitive Dota 2 scene has been undergoing some monumental roster changes after a long time, but it appears that some experienced players are struggling to find viable teams. On Valve's Majors Registration Page, popular Eastern European (EEU) players such as Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev and Artsiom "Fng" Barshak have joined forces under the banner of 'CIS Rejects.’ Among the roster are other former members of NAVI as well as a young midlaner from the EEU region. CIS Rejects will be competing in the open qualifiers of the EEU regional league in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22.
Valve's Majors Registration Page saw some of the most renowned Dota 2 players in Eastern Europe registering under the banner of CIS Rejects on 17th Nov 2021.

Both RAMZES666 and RodjER last played for NAVI during the DPC 2021. RodjER was a part of the team since the beginning of the season while RAMZES666, in a controversial move, joined before the second half of the season. Rather than playing position one, he had joined NAVI as its position three player. The team had a very poor showing at the second regional league and at the regional qualifiers of The International 10 (TI10) After TI10, the entire roster was placed inactive and both RAMZES666 and RodjER departed from the team.
9pasha last played for NAVI as part of its active lineup in September 2020. But for the past year, he has been in a stack named Prosti Esli with different players. The team was not able to produce any notable results for most of the tournaments it participated in.
Fng recently parted ways with Alliance after serving as the position five player for a good portion of 2020 and through the DPC 2021. The team was a force to be reckoned with in the regional league, however, it failed to find similar results at the Majors or TI10.
Four of these players have achieved fame because of past successes, but the fifth member, depressed kid, is an exception. Depressed kid is a 17-year-old midlaner from Russia, and is currently on the bench for Team Empire on a loan from Team Unique. While his pro career is still in its early stages, he is gradually climbing the ranks of the MMR Leaderboards.
After a disappointing season last year, for most of the players at least, CIS Rejects will be hoping to gain some momentum for the upcoming season. The team is most likely formed with an agenda of competing in the first regional league, and some players may choose to part ways if they have better offers in the future or if they do not find success. With regards to the members of the team there is a lot riding on how CIS Rejects performs in the EEU regional league’s open qualifiers scheduled for 26th to 28th Nov 2021.
