Alliance is in a heavenly form in the EU 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division as the team has managed to secure their four consecutive series victory. In arguably their toughest matchup in the tournament, Alliance managed to beat Team Secret 2-1 courtesy of some magnificent teamfight execution and incredible warding with Nikobaby stealing the show on his carry performances. Alliance has defeated Team Secret after having lost five series on the trot against them. While Alliance remains the only undefeated team in the tournament with four wins in four series, Team Secret has two wins and two losses.

Game 1 saw Team Secret emerging out ahead in the laning phase for the umpteenth time. Alliance could not fight into Secret’s high sustain draft until S4, and his teammates took an incredible fight around their top barracks. That marked the turnaround for Alliance as Nikobaby went ham on his Lifestealer helping his team secure a victory in 37 minutes.
Game 2 witnessed Team Secret stall the game as they had a greedy core group of Morphling, Lone Druid, and Zai’s Axe who had opted for an unconventional Manta Style build. While things seemed to look bleak for Team Secret, they played a crucial teamfight perfectly, which put them in the driver’s seat. Nikobaby once again delivered a mind-blowing performance but could not lead Alliance to victory in this game.
Game 3 was another fabulous performance from Alliance as all of their heroes were on point with their spellcasting in every teamfight. Secret was also oftentimes playing in an aggressive way despite being down in networth. With S4 and his teammates just being the better group, they won the third game in 38 minutes.
Here are some highlights of the series
Having already taken down the top dogs - Team Secret, Team Nigma, Team Liquid and OG of the EU 2021 DPC Season 2: Upper Division, Alliance is now on the verge of qualifying for the next Major. They have risen from the ashes like a phoenix after a thumping defeat in the group stage of the Singapore Major.

While S4 and his teammates play their next series against Brame on May 5, 2021, Team Secret has a long break before playing against OG on May 9, 2021.
Alliance’s midlaner, Linus "Limmp" Blomdin, surprisingly tipped Puppey when they had almost won the third game. While pros oftentimes tip each other, tipping Puppey is a rare sight to witness. Talking about the reason behind it, Limmp said,
“It was just a heat of the moment thing. I was just feeling, feeling good, you know, tipped him, whatever. There’s no beef there. I would expect them to tip more, actually. I think they usually do, but they didn’t tip like once. I guess this was a tip-less series.”
